Dr. Teresa Schully Habacker is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Association of Surgery for the Hand. She is a member of the Suffolk Medical Society and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society .
Dr. Teresa Schully Habacker specializes in all injuries and illnesses from the elbow to the hand ranging from congenital malformations to degenerative arthritis. Her expertise includes care of tumors of the skin, soft tissue, and bone. Her practice encompasses sports injuries, fractures and overuse injuries. Many conditions can be addressed nonsurgically. She is one of the physicians on the panel for Xiaflex---the recently approved medication to treat Dupuytren’s contractures without surgery. The doctor works very closely with occupational and physical therapists to ensure optimal care. When surgery is indicated, arthroscopic or endoscopic procedures may be discussed. |
